Kareim Cade

Kareim is a native Detroiter and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University with an emphasis on Insurance and Risk Management

Kareim holds a Life and Health Insurance license in the State of Michigan and spent 10 years in sales management before launching his own brokerage firm, Great Lakes Benefit Group (GLBG), in 2006 - where he currently serves as President and CEO. GLBG provides benefit consulting for the K-12 traditional public and charter school districts in multiple states throughout the country.

In addition to his business interests Mr. Cade is a graduate of Leadership Oakland XV and has held several leadership positions in community organizations. Selective Service System, Metro Detroit Association of Health Underwriters (board member), National Association of Black School Educators, National Technical Honor Society (honorary member); Playworks Michigan, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Michigan (board member); Ron Clark Academy (board member); and New Paradigm for Education (board member)
